The San Miguel Lions club Charity Shop is open Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm, situated in “The Dip”, Costa del Silencio, Arona , Tenerife. W3W address click here.
The shop provides new and second hand clothes and various houseware items at reasonable prices.
The Charity Shop accepts donations of clothes, housewares, books, pictures etc., are re-distributed at low cost into the community. Unfortunately, we cannot accept electrical items, CD´s, DVD´s or VHS tapes.
Also at the Charity Shop is a well stocked library of books of varied interests and titles.
Childrens Xmas gifts
Christmas gifts are donated generously by local business and individuals. The gifts are collected locally and at Christmas distributed to youngesters of families having a bad time.
FOOD FOR THE NEEDY
The San Miguel Lions Club is committed to supporting those in need by providing vital supplies and assistance to those referred to us or seeking our aid. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to establish and address the actual needs of those we serve, providing help where it is needed most. We take great pride in our efforts to make a positive impact on our community and support those who may be struggling in these challenging times.
AMISUR
Amisur is a day centre in Aldea Blanca, for physically and mentally handicapped people. It also acts as a respite centre. We assist them when and where we can.
In the past San Miguel Lions Club provided a special Physiotherapy bed. This enabled the patients to receive physiotherapy treatment in a satisfactory way to both patients and the physiotherapist.
Recently a Christmas party was held for those from the day centre in Coral Mar Square.
